MEMBERSHIP BASICS
What is The Leadership Association?
A global leadership community and development platform for leaders who mean it — real conversations, neuroscience-backed development, and the Human Leadership Framework™, all in one place. With members across six continents, it’s the worldwide network for leaders building the human skills AI can’t replace.
What's the difference between Associate and Fellow?
The Associate ($95/year) plan gives you global community access, free masterclasses, and the resource library. Fellow ($995/year) includes everything in Associate plus full program access, advisory and coaching touchpoints, and exclusive Fellow-only events — including global virtual roundtables. Most members start as Associate and upgrade once they know they’re in it for the long haul.
Can I upgrade from Associate to Fellow later?
Yes. Members can upgrade to Fellow at any time to access additional benefits and opportunities. The exact pricing applied at upgrade depends on the billing settings in place at the time. Please contact us before upgrading if you’d like to confirm the amount payable.
Is this for individuals or can my whole team join?
Both. Individual memberships start from $95/year. For teams and organisations — including global and distributed teams — pricing starts from $95 per leader per year. Contact us for team pricing and we’ll build a package that fits.
Where are your members based?
Everywhere. The Leadership Association has members across six continents — Australia, the UK, North America, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. All events and programs are designed to work across time zones, and our on-demand library means the community is always open, wherever you lead from.
BILLING & PRICING
Can I pay monthly instead of annually?
Yes. Associate is available from $12/month, Fellow from $99/month. Annual plans save you up to 34%, so if you’re planning to stick around, annual is the better deal.
Will I be charged automatically when my membership renews?
Yes. Your membership will automatically renew at the end of your billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your membership at any time through Personal Settings > Plans & Access. We’ll send you a reminder before your renewal is processed, including your renewal date, membership level, and the amount to be charged.
Can I switch from monthly to annual billing, or vice versa?
Yes, depending on your membership plan. Any changes to your billing cycle will take effect in accordance with our membership and billing policies. Contact our team and we’ll guide you through the available options and any pricing implications.
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
How do I cancel my membership?
You can cancel at any time through your account settings — no cancellation fees, phone calls, or forms required. On the web: Profile Photo > Personal Settings > Plans & Access > Cancel Subscription. Your membership stays active until the end of your current billing period, then moves to the Free Plan automatically.
I joined through the iOS app — is cancelling different?
Yes. If you subscribed through the Mighty Networks app on iPhone or iPad, cancel directly through Apple: Settings > [Your Name] > Media & Purchases > Subscriptions > Mighty Networks > Cancel Subscription. Apple handles billing for these purchases, not us directly.
Can I get a refund?
If you’re a new member and decide the membership isn’t right for you, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial payment. Requests after this period are generally not eligible. If you believe there are exceptional circumstances, contact our team and we’ll review on a case-by-case basis.

What is Certified Human Leader™?
A four-level global credential pathway — Courage, Trust & Influence, Human Leadership Practitioner, and Human Leadership Coach — that proves you can lead with the human skills AI can’t replace. Recognised internationally. See the Certified Human Leader™ page for full details.
Is certification included in my membership?
Membership and certification are separate offerings. Your membership provides access to professional development, resources, events, and community benefits. Certification pathways and credentials may be available as an additional investment. Members may be eligible for exclusive discounts and early access to certification opportunities.
What's the difference between TLA membership and LeadershipHQ programs?
TLA membership is your global community, content, and certification home — built for ongoing connection and development. LeadershipHQ delivers bespoke, in-depth consulting, coaching, and keynote work for individuals and organisations. Many members do both.

What actually happens inside the community?
Real conversations — leaders from around the world asking hard questions, sharing wins, and supporting each other through actual leadership challenges. Plus live masterclasses, monthly challenges, global roundtables, and a resource library you can dip into anytime, in any time zone.
How often are events and masterclasses held?
Our planned annual program includes: Monthly Masterclasses with leadership, HR, culture, and business experts | Monthly Member Meet-Ups and networking sessions | Quarterly Global Leadership Roundtables for deeper discussion and peer learning | Special guest speakers and virtual events throughout the year | An annual Leadership Summit featuring thought leaders and industry experts from around the world. Event schedules may evolve as we grow — all upcoming events will be published in the member portal and communicated in advance.
